Night # 81

As I think about yesterday's the cabby incident and reading through my entry for last night, it dawned upon me that perhaps I could be in trouble if that arab man decided to open the cab door and pull me out... Afterall I didn't lock the door and the window was wound down since the cab was not air-conditioned. But at that point in time, I think I was more fuming mad than afraid.

Anyway, to continue my next first...

Two:

It was my first time stepping into a girls school in Kuwait. It is a very different experience really. I was warned about how curious these girls could be as they are rarely out of their houses... but nothing beats finding it out for yourself. I was sitting at a chair, browsing the textbooks, while waiting for my friend to finish her class, a girl came up to me and asked "Miss, what are you doing here? Are you lost?" Awww... so sweet right? They aren't afraid to ask questions that's for sure. During the change of periods, they were all over the corridor, I was thrown with other questions by different girls. "Miss, are you a teacher here?" "Are you a student here?" "Are you going to be our new teacher?" "What is your name?"

Did I also mention that they are persistent too? This girl who asked me for my name, refused to give up. I told her that she will find out my name in due time. She said "I want to know your name now." Wow. That's one challenge I can't resist. She left without knowing my name. :)
