Night # 15 - Eggy Tarts
Weather: Strong winds and cloudy
Our neighbour invited us over for dinner today. So I am going to try my hand at making egg tarts and bring them over. As far as I can see they looked kind of frothy... like those milk froth that you find on top of the coffee. Hmm... will definitely take a photo of it (before M reminds me again).
The pastry was testing my patience ... I kept thinking that clay was alot easier to manage than this pastry.Anyhow, the pastry tasted not too bad though I couldn't figure why the egg custard was like sagging and shrinking as the tarts cooled down.
