Night # 50 - Camel Alert!

We finally saw the desert! There are still parts of this country that are bare land with little vegetation... I was told that if we keep driving for 60 km, we may reach the borders of Iraq... Of cos we didn't try to make it there :)

What was interesting was that we noticed a number of tents set up (as above right) which reminded me of nomadic tents. Not too certain about the uses of these tents but it seemed like it was for herding purposes.

Alot of people had asked if I had seen the camels... Yes, I have finally seen them today. I thought they were horses as they are single humped :-S ... Anyway there are herds of them as well as goats and sheep and we stopped by the road just so that I can take some photos.
